people who want to master the Senate estimates process and their
performance.
The
Senate Estimates Unlocked! courses have been designed for
individuals and Public Servant teams preparing for and presenting
at Senates Estimates Hearings.
Presented
by Media Manoeuvres’ specialist trainers, who have intimate, inside
knowledge and experience of the Senate estimates process, the
courses are the first of their kind and are a must
for executives and support teams.
The
training has two levels. The first gives trainees valuable insight
into the Senate estimates process covering successful preparation
of information and messages as well as general presentation
techniques. The second level focuses on intensive skills
development for people who will be in the hot seat and need to
perform at their best.

knowledge and experience.
Level 1
Senate Estimates Awareness
The first
level is an introduction to the Senate estimates process and
provides an overview of what a Senate Estimates Committee Hearing
is about, who is involved and an understanding of the preparation
and the protocols involved as an agency representative. This course
is designed for junior to middle management to gain a solid
grounding in understanding the process and skills required when
called to a hearing.
Level
2 Senate Estimates Performance Skills
The Level
2 course is aimed at middle to senior management including SES
representatives who will be required to answer questions at a
hearing. This course will be tailored to the needs of the trainees,
taking into account issues that are relevant to them and their
agencies’ needs. These are highly interactive, intensive sessions
with limited number of trainees to focus on building performance
skills.
